Mileage

Talking about the mileage of the Hero Xtreme 125R, the company claims 66 kmpl on paper, but I think it comfortably delivers around 55 to 60 kmpl. I am currently using the Glamour 125, which has the same cc engine. While it has slightly less power, it provides a mileage between 60 to 65 kmpl easily. Considering the Xtreme 125R has a bit more power, I believe it should give you around 60 kmpl, and the performance is expected to be significantly better. Speaking of power figures, it generates 11.4 BHP at 8250 RPM and a maximum torque of 10.5 NM at 6000 RPM.

Compared to the Glamour X-Tech, the Xtreme 125R has a slightly higher power output with 10.7 BHP at 7500 RPM and 11.4 BHP at 8250 RPM, resulting in impressive performance. While the torque is slightly less at 10.5 NM compared to the X-Tech's 10.6 NM, the difference is minimal. Regarding the tire size, it features a robust front tire of 90/90-17 and a rear tire of 120/80-17. The suspension setup is commendable, with a conventional front suspension having a 37 mm diameter, which is quite good for a 125 cc bike. Additionally, it comes with a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear, provided by SHOWA, ensuring good overall ride quality.

When it comes to braking, the Xtreme 125R instills confidence with the Integrated Braking System (IBS) on the front, and the top model is equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), further enhancing braking performance and safety

Cost and Colors

Speaking about the colours, it comes in three colours - Firestorm red, Cobalt blue, and Stallion black. The pictures of all three are displayed here. The on-road price of the top model is around 1,15,000 to 1,20,000. You can check with the nearest showroom in your state for the exact pricing.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a new, sporty look, want ABS braking system, need a 125cc engine, and also want something unique, you can consider Hero Xtream 125R. It comes with special features like single-channel ABS, a new engine, a rear tire of 120, impressive mileage, and a fully LED setup. It also has a mono-shock suspension for added elegance. This makes it quite special, and its starting price for the Xtreme 125 ABS is 95,000 INR (ex-showroom), while the Xtreme 125 R ABS is priced at 99,500 INR.
